How to Cancel Smallpdf Subscription

Stop Smallpdf renewal from your account or the store that billed you. A paid plan and a free trial have different access rules after cancellation.

Before you cancel

Check whether you are canceling paid Pro access or a trial. Download any documents you still need before changing your plan.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Smallpdf

Purchased directly from Smallpdf

  1. Sign in to Smallpdf and open your account settings, then Plan & Billing.
  2. Open Manage subscription and select Cancel Subscription.
  3. Confirm cancellation again and save the resulting status.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Smallpdf, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Smallpdf, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Paid Pro access continues until the current billing period ends.
  • Canceling a free trial removes Pro features immediately, and the canceled trial cannot be resumed.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Can I keep using Smallpdf for free?

Yes. Free tools remain available with usage limits after Pro access ends.

Why can I not cancel on the website?

Check for an Apple or Google receipt. Store purchases are managed in that store.
