Before you cancel

Download your customized products first. Placeit does not promise to store them permanently after cancellation.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Placeit

Purchased directly from Placeit

  1. Open My account on Placeit and find Account Information.
  2. Choose Cancel my subscription, select a reason, and confirm cancellation.
  3. Continue past any offer if you still want to cancel.
  4. Accept or decline the return reminder, then save the expiry message at the top of the page.
Open provider page

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Paid creation and template access last until the billing cycle ends. Existing purchased products retain their usage rights, subject to the licence.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does my Envato account disappear?

No. Cancelling the Placeit subscription does not delete the account.

Can I keep previously created products?

Yes, but download your copies because server storage is not guaranteed indefinitely.
