Before you cancel
Check the purchase email, billing provider, renewal date and account owner. Save any files or records you need before changing the plan.

How to cancel point.me
Purchased directly from point.me
- Click your login name at the upper right and Manage your Account.
- Open Plan & Billing.
- Under Plan Details, choose Cancel next renewal.
- Complete the cancellation page and save the result.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Once the request is processed, the Cancel option disappears from plan details. Retain the effective date or confirmation as well.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Does closing the first cancellation page finish the request?
No. Complete that page and verify the resulting plan details. If the status remains unclear, ask point.me support to confirm.
How do I confirm cancellation?
Save the final canceled status or scheduled end date, together with the confirmation email. A request awaiting a reply is not a completed cancellation. Compare any later charge with that record and the original receipt.
