How to Cancel Quizlet Subscription

Turn off Quizlet auto-renewal and check the expiry date. Your study sets remain available after the paid subscription ends.

Before you cancel

Quizlet asks for cancellation at least 24 hours before renewal. Confirm whether the charge came from Quizlet or an app store.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Quizlet

Purchased directly from Quizlet

  1. Log in to Quizlet and open the profile-picture menu.
  2. Choose Manage subscription, then Cancel auto-renewal.
  3. Complete any final confirmation. In the app, this may be labeled Yes, finish canceling.
  4. Reopen subscription settings and check the expiration date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Quizlet, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Quizlet, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Your sets, folders, and classes remain accessible after paid access ends.
  • Premium features are governed by the plan’s expiry; canceling renewal is not account deletion.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
