How to Cancel Spark Mail Subscription

Stop Spark renewal using the purchase platform. Desktop and website purchases are managed from Spark Settings.

Before you cancel

Check the purchase receipt and whether you have a personal or team subscription. A team’s final invoice may include prorated active-user charges.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Spark Mail

Purchased directly from Spark Mail

  1. Open Spark Settings and select your email address at the top of the sidebar.
  2. Choose Manage beside the subscription name.
  3. Cancel the subscription in the opened management flow and save confirmation.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Spark Mail, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Spark Mail, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The subscription remains available until its expiration date.
  • Spark for Teams may settle prorated charges or account credits based on active users during the period.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
