How to Cancel TestRail Cloud Subscription
TestRail Cloud cancellation depends on monthly or prepaid billing. Disable renewal carefully if you want to use the remaining prepaid term.

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel TestRail Cloud
Purchased directly from TestRail Cloud
- Export required data through Administration, Data Management, Schedule Export.
- Open the Cloud billing portal with the appropriate account access.
- For monthly billing, switch off auto-renewal or use Cancel my subscription; review the final usage invoice.
- For an annual or prepaid plan, turn off auto-renewal to keep the remaining term. Check the immediate-cancellation warning before choosing Cancel my subscription.
- Settle outstanding invoices and save the effective closing date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Cloud closure requires the account to be in good standing. Outstanding invoices can prevent closure and billing can continue. After cancellation, access ends and data is permanently deleted after 60 days.
Cancellation and refunds
The provider does not refund forfeited prepaid balance through immediate cancellation. Ask billing to clarify your final invoice before closing the account.

Why avoid immediate cancellation on a prepaid plan?
That action can forfeit unused prepaid funds. Turning off renewal instead allows the current period or prepaid balance to run out.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
