How to Cancel Windfinder Plus Subscription

Cancel Windfinder Plus, Remove Ads or Supporter through the app-store account used for purchase.

Before you cancel

Check the product name and store account on your receipt. Windfinder distinguishes its standalone Pro app from recurring in-app products.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Windfinder Plus

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Windfinder Plus, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Windfinder Plus, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Use the store’s final status and expiry date to confirm renewal has stopped. Check all recurring Windfinder products listed under that account.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Are Remove Ads and Supporter one-time purchases?

The current Windfinder FAQ identifies these as subscriptions and directs cancellation to Apple or Google.

Does one cancellation apply across my devices?

Windfinder says the purchase status follows the same app-store account. A different store account can have a separate purchase; compare receipts if another device still shows renewal.
