How to Cancel You.com Subscription

Cancel personal You.com Pro through the website billing portal or the original mobile store.

Before you cancel

Check the receipt and confirm that this is your personal Pro subscription. Ask the billing administrator about organization-managed access.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel You.com

Purchased directly from You.com

  1. On You.com, open Settings, All settings, then Purchases.
  2. Choose Manage Your Subscriptions.
  3. Select Cancel plan and confirm again on the following page.
  4. Save the cancellation and paid-access end date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select You.com, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select You.com, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Pro features remain through the current billing cycle. Stopping renewal does not return the unused portion automatically.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does uninstalling the app stop payment?

No. Complete cancellation through the billing provider.

Can You.com refund an Apple purchase?

The official guide directs Apple-billed subscribers to Apple for refund requests. A refund request does not replace subscription cancellation.
