Why this happens
Zoom's documentation distinguishes accounts that can cancel directly from arrangements where the control is unavailable. A user without billing privileges may also be looking at the wrong management surface. The next action should identify that cause rather than repeatedly removing licenses or deleting the app.
What to do
- Confirm that the acting user is the account owner or has billing permissions, and inspect the exact plan in Plans and billing.
- Check whether Apple or Google sold the subscription; if so, use that store's cancellation route.
- For a directly managed plan with unavailable controls, contact the Account Executive or official Zoom support and request cancellation terms and an effective date.
Check the result
Keep the written outcome. A support request is pending work until Zoom confirms the contract change; a disabled button alone does not mean the plan is already canceled.
