Zoom shows a pending cancellation: check the term end date

A plan can remain active until the end of its paid term after cancellation has been scheduled.

Why this happens

Zoom's paid service ordinarily continues through the confirmed term. The important distinction is between an active plan with a future renewal and a pending cancellation with an effective end date. Add-ons or contracts handled by a representative may have their own dates, so read the record for each product.

What to do

  1. Open Plans and billing and inspect the cancellation state and term end date for the base plan.
  2. Compare that date with the confirmation and check associated add-ons separately.
  3. Before the service ends, download needed cloud recordings and communicate the confirmed change to people relying on the account.

Check the result

If a later invoice appears inconsistent, ask Zoom to identify the product and service period it covers. Continued meeting access before the stated end date is not proof of a failed cancellation.
