How to Cancel Ahrefs Subscription

Export reports you need and record the next billing date before making changes.

How to cancel Ahrefs
Purchased directly from Ahrefs
- Sign in and open Account settings.
- Go to Billing and Subscriptions.
- Choose cancellation and complete its prompts.
- Save the resulting confirmation and paid-access end date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Access continues through the current billing cycle, after which the account moves to Free.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

What if I cannot cancel in settings?
Contact Ahrefs through official live chat or from the email registered to the account.
Does cancelling delete the account?
Subscription cancellation and account deletion are separate requests. Use cancellation when your aim is to stop renewal.
