How to Cancel Capture One Subscription
Cancel a direct Capture One plan through the website account. Stopping its payment in PayPal has different consequences.

Before you cancel
Match the license to its receipt. Website bundles and Apple-billed mobile subscriptions are different purchases; back up your work and check which plan you are ending.

How to cancel Capture One
Purchased directly from Capture One
- Sign in to your Capture One account.
- Under Plans & Services Management, select Manage.
- Choose the relevant subscription and Cancel Subscription.
- Save the notification showing the license deactivation date.
Billed by Apple
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Select Capture One, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
- Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.
A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.
Open provider pageMake sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Normal website cancellation preserves access through the paid cycle. The provider warns that cancellation through PayPal instead can disable the license immediately without refunding remaining time.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Can I reverse the cancellation?
The website allows reactivation before the deactivation date. After that date, a new subscription purchase is required.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
