Before you cancel
Check which account owns the Pro plan and note any sites that rely on its paid features.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Carrd
Purchased directly from Carrd
- From the Carrd dashboard, open the account area.
- Open Current Plan and choose Turn Off Auto-Renew.
- Confirm turning it off.
- Save the updated renewal setting and the current expiration date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Turning off auto-renew stops automatic extension. Review site and plan requirements before the existing term expires.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Can I renew manually later?
Yes. Carrd offers a separate Renew Now option.
Does changing my saved card cancel Pro?
Use the auto-renew control itself. Carrd can use an account balance to renew, so payment details alone are not confirmation.
