How to Cancel Cursor Subscription
Cancel a Cursor plan in the billing dashboard. If you are part of a team, first establish who administers the subscription.

Before you cancel
Keep an invoice and check the workspace name before making changes. Leaving a team is not a substitute for having its administrator stop renewal.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Cursor

- Sign in to the account responsible for billing.
- Open Manage Subscription to enter the billing portal.
- Select Cancel Subscription and confirm the change.
- Return to the dashboard and record the plan end date.
A team member may not have billing controls; ask the team administrator. If your receipt names an app store, manage that purchase with the store.
Open provider pageMake sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The paid plan remains available until its current billing period ends.
- Afterward the account returns to Hobby; cancellation does not erase local project files.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancellation stops renewal; it does not by itself return a previous payment. Ask the company that billed you to review the charge and provide its current refund terms.
Common questions
Why can the cancel button be missing?
The account may already be on Hobby, or you may lack team billing permissions. Check the invoice account before contacting support.
Does canceling remove code from my computer?
No. The cancellation guide distinguishes ending the paid plan from deleting local files.
