How to Cancel Fireflies.ai Subscription

Finish the Fireflies cancellation sequence and check any separate AI Credits subscription.

Before you cancel

Review team access and export important work. Check Billing for credit packages or automatic credit subscriptions.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Fireflies.ai

Purchased directly from Fireflies.ai

  1. In the web app, open Settings, Account, then Subscriptions.
  2. Choose Cancel beside the active plan, give a reason, and continue.
  3. Continue past AskFred suggestions using Proceed With Cancellation.
  4. Confirm Cancel Subscription, or Cancel Team Subscription for the team plan.
  5. Save the final status and end date.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • The account changes to Free at period end. Existing recordings and transcripts remain accessible within Free limits.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does cancellation delete meetings?

The guide says existing data remains, subject to Free-plan limits.

How do I stop a separate AI Credits plan?

In its billing controls, edit the credit subscription and cancel it. Also review the automatic-subscribe switch to avoid another credit plan.
