Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.

How to cancel Formsite
Purchased directly from Formsite
- Sign in to the Formsite account you pay for.
- Open the account Billing page.
- Select Cancel Service and complete any confirmation.
- Record the last day of the current billing cycle and the non-renewing status.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The account returns to Free without deleting existing data at the moment paid service ends. Review Free-plan limits before relying on continued form operation.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Can I leave the free account unused indefinitely?
No. Formsite says accounts with no logins or form activity for 365 days can be treated as abandoned and permanently deleted. Keep your own exports.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
