Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Formstack
Purchased directly from Formstack
- Sign in to the Formstack admin portal.
- Open Billing & Usage, then Manage Plan.
- Open the three-dot menu beside the relevant plan.
- Select the cancellation action for Forms, Docs or Sign and complete the on-screen process.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Formstack’s retention policy says canceled-account data is retained for 60 days, but that is not a period of continued access. After that window the data can be permanently deleted.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
