Turn off iStock auto-renewal to prevent another term. This does not erase the remaining commitment on an annual subscription.

Before you cancel
Check whether your plan is annual, even if billed monthly. Note the expiry date and accumulated downloads.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

- Sign in to the iStock account that owns the subscription.
- Open account settings and the subscription details.
- Turn off automatic renewal for the intended plan and complete confirmation.
- Save the renewal setting, contract end date, and remaining payment schedule.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- An annual contract continues to its term end, including monthly instalments. Accumulated rollover downloads are lost when a non-renewing subscription ends.
Cancellation and refunds
iStock generally does not refund subscriptions or cancel annual commitments early. Its purchasing policy lists limited jurisdiction-specific exceptions; ask support about your purchase and download history.
Common questions
Will my next monthly instalment stop?
Not if it is owed under the current annual term. Switching off renewal prevents a new term.
Does deleting a saved card count as cancellation?
Use the subscription renewal setting and keep its confirmation instead.
