How to Cancel Kapwing Subscription

Before you cancel
Save important exports and identify which workspace owns the paid subscription.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Kapwing
Purchased directly from Kapwing
- Open that workspace’s Settings and Billing tab.
- Select Cancel Subscription near the bottom.
- Review the changes, answer the survey, and finish confirmation.
- Check Plan Information for the cancelled status and downgrade date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Paid features remain until the billing cycle ends, then Free-plan limits apply.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Does cancelling delete my account?
No. Account deletion is a separate, irreversible action.
What if I cannot finish online?
Contact Kapwing before renewal with the account email and workspace information.
