How to cancel Katana
Cancel Katana
- Open the top-right menu, Subscription, then Cancel your subscription.
- If trialling a higher plan or add-on, downgrade or remove it before cancellation becomes available.
- For Shopify-billed accounts, uninstall Katana through Shopify; verify the effective date and notice terms.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Direct monthly cancellation takes effect at the end of the next billing cycle. Quarterly and annual plans require thirty days' notice to end at the current term.
Cancellation and refunds
A late notice can extend the billable term; the cancellation guide does not guarantee a refund of existing fees.

Why is Katana's cancellation button unavailable during an add-on trial?
The provider requires removing that trial add-on or downgrading the trialled plan before cancelling.
