How to Cancel Sortly Subscription

Cancel Sortly with its original billing provider while keeping account deletion separate.

Before you cancel

Export inventory data before any permanent deletion; Enterprise plans should go through the Customer Success Manager.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Sortly

  1. For direct billing, open Settings, Company Details and Cancel Subscription under Manage Account.
  2. Answer the prompts, review the cancellation details and confirm.
  3. For Apple or Google Play purchases, cancel in that store's subscription settings instead.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Sortly, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Sortly, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Access continues to the paid or trial period's end. Ordinary cancellation retains account data for two years; deletion follows a separate irreversible process.

Cancellation and refunds

Use the original billing provider for a payment review. Sortly cannot cancel an app-store subscription on the user's behalf.

Common questions

Should I delete my Sortly account to stop paying?

Cancel the subscription first; deleting data is a separate action with different consequences and is unnecessary just to stop renewal.
