How to cancel Milanote
Purchased directly from Milanote
- Sign in to Milanote and open Settings at the top right.
- Choose View billing details.
- Select Downgrade to the free plan and finish the confirmation.
- Check the resulting plan and save the change confirmation.
Billed by Apple
- On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
- Select Milanote, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
- Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.
A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.
Open provider pageMake sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Milanote says existing content can still be viewed and edited after downgrading.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
What if I subscribed on an iPhone or iPad?
That purchase is tied to the Apple Account used at checkout. Manage it in Apple's subscription settings instead of expecting the website to cancel it.
How do I confirm cancellation?
Save the final canceled status or scheduled end date, together with the confirmation email. A request awaiting a reply is not a completed cancellation. Compare any later charge with that record and the original receipt.
