How to Cancel Poe Subscription

Manage a Poe subscription on the platform where it was purchased. Poe settings can identify the correct billing platform.

Before you cancel

Check the account email and purchase channel before changing plans. Switching platforms requires attention to the existing subscription.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Poe

Purchased directly from Poe

  1. Sign in to Poe and open Settings.
  2. In Subscription, choose Manage your subscription and continue through the cancellation prompts.
  3. Return to Settings and check that cancellation and the final benefits date are shown.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Poe, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Poe, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Subscription benefits continue until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • Chat history and account settings remain intact when you cancel.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Why is Manage your subscription missing?

Poe may name a different billing platform in that section. Manage the plan there.

Does switching to a different phone cancel my plan?

No. Use the original billing platform even when you access Poe elsewhere.
