Before you cancel
Download your resume and cover letter first. Locate the checkout email; billing statements may show ResumeNow, Resume-Now.com, or BLD*Resume-Now.com.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Resume Now
Purchased directly from Resume Now
- Sign in and use the self-service cancellation option in your dashboard; complete the confirmation prompts.
- If you cannot finish online, open the official Contact Us page and choose cancellation in its support assistant.
- Identify the account using the purchase email. You can also request cancellation by phone, email, or chat through that page.
- Obtain a confirmation and effective end date before treating the request as finished.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- Check with Resume Now which downloads and account features remain available after the effective date.
- A support conversation alone is not evidence that renewal has been disabled.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Can I delete my account instead?
Ask to cancel the paid subscription explicitly. Confirm any separate account-deletion request only after saving your documents.
