How to Cancel Riverside Subscription

Finish every Riverside cancellation screen; selecting a reason alone does not complete the request.

Before you cancel

Check the purchase email, billing provider, renewal date and account owner. Save any files or records you need before changing the plan.

How to cancel Riverside

Purchased directly from Riverside

  1. Sign in on a computer and open the account menu at the bottom left.
  2. Select your plan name to open Plan & Billing.
  3. Choose Cancel plan and work through the reason and follow-up questions.
  4. Continue until Riverside shows a completed cancellation message, then save it.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Riverside, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Riverside, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Check the displayed end date and download recordings or exports you need before paid access changes.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does this also cancel Mobile Plus?

The web-subscription flow is separate from mobile-store billing. Use Apple or Google Play when that store issued your receipt.

How do I confirm cancellation?

Save the final canceled status or scheduled end date, together with the confirmation email. A request awaiting a reply is not a completed cancellation. Compare any later charge with that record and the original receipt.
