How to Cancel Sentry Subscription
Cancel a directly purchased Sentry subscription with Owner or Billing permissions.

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Sentry
Purchased directly from Sentry
- Open the correct organization with an Owner or Billing role.
- Go to Settings, then Subscription.
- Choose Manage Plan and select Cancel Subscription below the summary.
- Review the downgrade effects and finish confirmation.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The free plan has one seat, so other members can lose access. Review team access and usage limits before submitting the downgrade.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Why is there no Cancel Subscription option?
An organization already on the free Developer plan has no paid subscription to cancel. Check Subscription Overview before considering organization deletion.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
