How to Cancel Vercel Pro Subscription

Before you cancel
Check the email on your receipt, the plan you purchased, and the next billing or order date. Sign in to that account before making changes.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Vercel Pro
Purchased directly from Vercel Pro
- Select the Pro team in the dashboard team switcher.
- Open Settings, then Billing.
- Under Plan, choose Downgrade Plan.
- Review prerequisites and confirm only after moving any connected Stores or Domains that block the downgrade.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The downgrade removes active members other than the original owner. Accounts can have only one Hobby team, so an existing Hobby team can require a merge or other team changes.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Can I assume a refund request also cancels renewal?
No. Verify the actual team plan and subscription state after any billing-support request. A refund and a downgrade are separate outcomes.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
