How to Cancel Sunsama Subscription

Cancel Sunsama through the billing portal. Export what you need before the documented workspace-data deletion deadline.

Before you cancel

Only the shared workspace administrator can change billing. Sunsama says workspace data is permanently deleted 30 days after a canceled subscription ends.

How to cancel Sunsama

Purchased directly from Sunsama

  1. Open the Sunsama menu in the top-left corner, then Settings and Billing.
  2. Choose Manage Billing to open the customer portal.
  3. Complete subscription cancellation in the portal and save the effective end date.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Access continues until the end of the current billing cycle.
  • The help guide gives a 30-day period after expiry before workspace data is deleted; arrange your export before losing access.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Must I cancel an ordinary free trial?

Sunsama says its trial does not automatically charge; payment begins only if you upgrade.

Can a shared-workspace member cancel individually?

Billing is handled by the workspace admin for the shared workspace.
