Before you cancel
Record the prepaid balance and review dedicated numbers or other services that may still draw from it.
Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Textmagic
Cancel Textmagic
- Open the Plans page in your Textmagic account.
- Select Essential rather than another Professional message-volume plan.
- Complete the switch and check the resulting plan and renewal status, then review any automatic top-ups separately.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- The remaining balance stays in the account on Essential, but Professional discounts no longer apply.
Cancellation and refunds
A retained balance is not a cash refund; the billing guide describes continued prepaid use rather than repayment on downgrade.
Common questions
Does Essential mean every Textmagic service becomes free?
No. It removes the Professional monthly bundle; messages, numbers and other chargeable services still consume prepaid funds.
