How to Cancel Trint Subscription

Export your Trints before cancelling: the provider says cancellation ultimately closes the account and removes its files.

Before you cancel

Select needed files and export them in your preferred formats before the billing period ends. A paid archive option is a different choice from cancellation.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Trint

Purchased directly from Trint

  1. Open the initials icon in your Trint account and choose Account.
  2. Open Billing and use the subscription-change options to cancel the plan.
  3. Complete the displayed confirmation.
  4. Keep the email stating when the plan will end.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • You can use the service until that date. Trint warns that files are deleted shortly after the account closes.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Does archiving stop all charges?

No. Trint offers archiving for a fee; ask support for the current terms before choosing it.

What should I do before the end date?

Download your exports and verify they open locally. Do not rely on continued account storage.
