Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.
How to cancel Udacity
Purchased directly from Udacity
- Log in to the paying Udacity account.
- Open Account Settings and the Subscription section.
- Select Cancel and complete the follow-up prompts.
- Save the confirmation email; Udacity recommends doing this a few days before the next billing date.
Make sure renewal has stopped
Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.
If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.
What happens after cancellation?
- After the refund window, cancellation normally retains classroom access through the current period and does not refund its unused portion.
Cancellation and refunds
Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.
Common questions
Is pausing enough to stop future renewal permanently?
No. Udacityβs pause feature temporarily suspends access and billing, then resumes automatically. Use cancellation for a lasting end to renewal.
What should I keep after canceling?
Save the final confirmation, the effective date and any remaining order or term details. If another charge appears, compare it with this record and ask the provider to explain it.
