How to Cancel Craft Subscription

Cancel Craft through its subscription owner, Apple, or Setapp. Your documents are kept when the paid plan ends.

Before you cancel

Identify the owner who purchased the subscription. A different member may not see Settings and Billing for that plan.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Craft

Purchased directly from Craft

  1. Open Craft Settings from the Space menu or your profile.
  2. Select My Subscription or My Subscriptions, then Settings and Billing beside the correct plan.
  3. Choose Cancel Subscription for that plan and confirm.
  4. Save the expiry date before leaving billing.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Craft, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Access through Setapp

  1. Sign in to the Setapp account that provides Craft access.
  2. Manage or cancel the Setapp membership there and review the effect on other included apps.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Craft moves to Free after the current billing period.
  • Documents and data remain. When switching to a cheaper plan, wait for the existing plan to end to avoid two active subscriptions.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Why can I not see Settings and Billing?

Only the subscription owner has that control.

Can I simply pick a lower plan?

Craft documents cancellation followed by subscribing to the lower plan after expiry.
