How to Cancel HeyGen Subscription

Cancel HeyGen from Plan & Billing or the original app store. Check legacy-plan and add-on consequences before confirming.

Before you cancel

Leaving a legacy Unlimited plan is permanent under HeyGen’s current guidance. If you only want an add-on removed, contact support rather than canceling the whole plan.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel HeyGen

Purchased directly from HeyGen

  1. Sign in on desktop and open Plan & Billing.
  2. In Plan, open the arrow beside Manage Billing and select Cancel Plan.
  3. Complete the feedback prompts and Continue Canceling.
  4. Check the end date and confirm that you canceled rather than paused.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select HeyGen, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Billed by Google Play

  1. Open Google Play with the Google account used for payment. Go to Payments & subscriptions, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select HeyGen, choose Cancel subscription, and complete the remaining prompts.
  3. Reopen the subscription and save its resulting status and end date.

If the subscription is missing, check other Google accounts and the purchase receipt. Installing an Android app does not establish who bills it.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Paid access continues through the current billing period, including the prepaid term of an annual plan.
  • A pause is temporary and can automatically resume billing; leaving a legacy plan cannot be reversed.

Cancellation and refunds

Stopping renewal does not automatically reverse an earlier charge. If you want a payment reviewed, contact the billing provider using the receipt and cancellation confirmation. Ask which refund terms apply to that purchase.

Common questions

Will self-service cancellation remove only an add-on?

HeyGen says self-service cancellation stops the whole subscription. Ask support to remove only an add-on.

Does a pause keep unused credits?

HeyGen’s current guide says the credit balance expires when a pause takes effect.
