How to Cancel Ideogram Subscription

Cancel Ideogram in Wallet & Billing and verify the Cancels status. Its current documentation specifies a five-day notice before renewal.

Before you cancel

Check Renews on in Wallet & Billing. Ideogram asks for cancellation at least five days before renewal; later requests may not stop the next charge.

Match the account email, plan and billing provider to your latest receipt. Choose the route below that matches that purchase.

How to cancel Ideogram

Purchased directly from Ideogram

  1. Open your avatar, choose Wallet & Billing, then Manage plan & billing.
  2. In the billing portal, choose Cancel subscription.
  3. Select a reason, continue to cancellation, review the end date, and confirm.
  4. Check for a Cancels badge and the final service date.

Billed by Apple

  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions.
  2. Select Ideogram, choose Cancel Subscription or Cancel Free Trial, and finish confirmation.
  3. Record the expiry date shown for the Apple Account on your receipt.

A purchase made with Apple Pay on a website is not necessarily an App Store subscription. Match the receipt before choosing this route.

Make sure renewal has stopped

Return to billing after the last confirmation screen. Save the canceled status or scheduled end date, plus any confirmation email. A support request awaiting a reply is not the same as a completed cancellation.

If another charge appears, compare its payment date, account and plan with that record. Contact the billing provider with the relevant receipt and confirmation.

What happens after cancellation?

  • Plan benefits continue through the paid period.
  • Monthly credits end with the plan; separately purchased credits retain their stated expiry.
  • Existing private images stay private, but new images made on Free are public.

Cancellation and refunds

Ideogram’s cancellation documentation says it does not refund partly used periods. An Apple-billed purchase must be managed through Apple.

Can website cancellation stop an Apple charge?

No. Use Apple subscription settings for a purchase made through the iOS app.
